A twist on classic moscow mules with lime juice and Seagram’s Lime Twisted Gin. Crispy and refreshing, the perfect drink to make to relax with after a hard day of work!
Hot summer days in LA and a hard day at work lends itself to relaxing with a cold refreshing drink. In my past I would frequent happy hours for this fix, but the older I get the more I’m starting to appreciate entertaining at home. Learning to make my own cocktails at home has been a lot of fun, and my friends appreciate it too!
My go to drink to order at the bar has always been moscow mules. I just love the taste of ginger beer and it’s the perfect drink to have on a hot summer day. For alcohol, my go to choice has always been gin. Ginger beer and gin pair perfectly together, and that was my inspiration for this lime & gin moscow mule.
Traditionally moscow mules are made with vodka, but I decided to twist it up with Seagram’s Lime Twisted Gin. For a great quality tasting gin at a value, I always go with Seagram’s. It’s Americas number 1 gin brand, and his been distilled here since 1939! It also mixes well with just about everything, and with 7 different flavors including their extra dry gin; there’s something for everyone!
These lime and gin moscow mules are Devin and I’s favorite drinks to make at home. We’ve been settling into our new apartment, and now that we have a balcony we love to make these drinks and sit out on the patio enjoying them. Drinking is a social activity that is best enjoyed with family and friends, and when you can do so in the comfort of your own home; it makes it even better! Check out the recipe for these moscow mules below, and visit Seagram’s for more cocktail inspiration!
