There’s just something about fresh fruit and wine that just screams summer to me. Maybe it’s the bright colors and the crisp fresh taste of wine, but during the season I make sure I get plenty of fruit and wine in. I’ve come up with what I think is the perfect summer cocktail: my Ginger Peach Sangria!
This cocktail screams summer to me. The temperature here in LA has steadily been rising, and all I can think of are nice ice, cold refreshing drinks. When it comes to sangria you can pretty much use whatever fruits you want. I went overboard on buying peaches at the farmers market during the weekend; so I’ve been finding ways to use them before they go bad. You can never go wrong with making a cocktail. 😉Ginger and peach really compliment each other well. You can either use ginger beer or grate in some fresh ginger to get the flavor. I did both because I am a huge ginger lover, and there can never be too much ginger for me. For my white wine I used an extra dry Prosecco to really get that crisp feeling and taste. Did I mention how easy this recipe was? If you’re new to the site; easy is a pretty big theme here on Ev’s Eats. Just throw everything into a pitcher, and let it sit and develop those flavors for at least two hours before serving.
Hope you guys enjoy this recipe! If you end up making it, let me know! Just tag #evseats on Instagram!

July 20, 2016I have been loving the weather here! We just moved to the LA area in April. 🙂
Your sangria sounds just like my kind of cocktail, too. Lemonade, prosecco, fresh fruit. Yum!

July 20, 2016I agree with you! I just love the fruits in the summer.
Fortunately it is so much cooler up here in San Francisco than it is in LA, doesn’t mean I won’t down this though! 😛
Btw where did you get those glasses?? I love them!
