#CookingForBae: The Best Spaghetti
The best spaghetti! Homemade and a delicious recipe that will have you cooking for bae and falling in love with all the ingredients you probably have in your home!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 1 ½ teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1-2 cups water or beef broth
Instructions
- In a dutch oven cook meat, onion, green pepper, and garlic till meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper & drain off fat.
- Pour in tomato sauce, tomato paste, and seasonings.
- Stir in the water or beef broth. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 1 ½ to 2 hours or till sauce is of desired consistency, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti.
