There’s brunch… and then there’s Italian brunch at Savoca L.A. Live – a little gem tucked inside the JW Marriott that’s serving up major flavor, cozy vibes, and a front-row seat to the energy of downtown Los Angeles.
I stopped in on a sunny weekend for a laid-back but indulgent brunch, and let’s just say: Savoca L.A. Live understood the assignment. From warm hospitality to beautifully plated dishes, everything felt elevated without being over the top. If you’re looking for a spot to catch up with friends, impress a guest, or treat yourself after a night out downtown, this is the move.
What I Ordered at Savoca L.A. Live:
I wanted to try a little of everything, and Savoca L.A. Live did not disappoint.
The Omelette was fluffy and packed with fresh herbs and vegetables—simple, comforting, and exactly what I needed to start.
Next up: Ricotta Waffles. Light, airy, and just slightly sweet, these waffles were the star of the show. Topped with seasonal fruit and a drizzle of syrup, they balanced richness with freshness like only Italian-inspired cuisine can.
The Steak and Eggs came next—perfectly cooked steak served alongside eggs your way and roasted potatoes. It was hearty, flavorful, and plated so beautifully it made me pause (for a photo, of course).
And because I’m me… I had to order Pasta. Yes, at brunch. It was worth every bite. Freshly made and tossed in a silky sauce, it brought just the right touch of indulgence to round out the meal.
