These drop biscuits, also known as clutch biscuits in my house are the answer to my breakfast prayers! Why? Because if you love biscuits, but like me aren’t that skilled of a baker than these are your go to biscuits to make in the morning. It is impossible to mess up such an easy recipe (well, hopefully impossible haha). But seriously, these biscuits come in clutch because they only require 6 ingredients and chances are if you cook fairly regularly then you already have the ingredients in your kitchen.

They’re my favorite thing to make on a Saturday morning where I spend much of the morning having breakfast and coffee in bed while watching Netflix. Such zen! There’s no fuss when making these. You just throw all the ingredients in a bowl, mix to combine, and then “drop” a spoonful of the batter on a baking sheet. They bake for about 10 to 12 minutes depending on how golden brown you want them. The best part about this recipe is its ability to be customized. This recipe is for plain drop biscuits, but I like to make different variations of them. I sometimes throw in cheddar cheese, bacon, scallions, and garlic to make a Cheddar Bacon Biscuit (kind of like the ones you get at Red Lobster)! Hope you enjoy the recipe and check out more of my breakfast recipes below the recipe! – xx Evi
